Nelles Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) Dry 2022
Pinot Noir is both the synonym and the international name for the Spätburgunder grape variety.
This noble and very old grape variety requires a great deal of care and is very demanding in terms of climate and soil; naturally, it thrives on our steep slate slopes.
Our Pinot Noir comes from a variety bred in Dijon and was aged in small, old wooden barrels.
On the nose, it reveals dark berry fruits and a hint of vanilla; on the palate, it is very powerful and robust.
Spätburgunder is best served at 16 to 18 degrees. It pairs well with roasts, game, and a cheese platter.
