In connection with the sale of batteries and accumulators, we as retailers are obliged under the Battery Ordinance to point out a few points to you as a consumer:
You can return them free of charge either after use in our sales point, in a municipal collection point or in the local trade. Disposal in normal household waste is expressly prohibited according to battery regulations. Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with a sign consisting of a crossed-out garbage can and the chemical symbol of the heavy metal that is decisive for the classification as a harmful substance. "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead and "Hg" for mercury.
