2016 Peter Kriechel Ahr Pinot Noir S 1.5 liters
The Spätburgunder is also known under the name "Pinot Noir" and is the leading red wine grape in Germany, whose finest wines come from the Ahr. You can also find rosé wines and white wines and the very popular "Blanc de Noir", a white wine made from red grapes from the Pinot Noir. On the steep slopes of the Ahr, this vine finds the optimal conditions and accounts for over 50% of our total vineyard area.
2016 Peter Kriechel Ahr Pinot Noir S
"S" is the wine's name for Selection. With these S-wines the basis for the high quality is already laid in the vineyard by a reduction of the harvest quantity. The rich S wines have at least Spätlese quality and are classically expanded.
