Description: This special Pinot Noir comes from one of the best vineyards of the Ahr (Großes Gewächs-Lage). Despite its strength, it still has the elegance of Pinot Noir. It is a very multi-faceted Burgundy, which is never boring to drink. Toasty aromas from the maturation in French barrique barrels accompany the typical Pinot Noir aromas (cherry) and a wonderful minerality from the slate.
Recommendation: A wine that goes wonderfully with strong meat
