Ahr Pinot Gris B, aged in barrique, has a full-bodied yet elegant Burgundy style. This Pinot Gris has a smooth texture with subtle woody notes and quite refined acidity.
Recommendation: A wine to savor—one that’s worth decanting.
“B” stands for aging in small 220-liter oak barrique barrels. Our Spätburgunder and Frühburgunder “B” wines mature in our unique Ahr oak barrels, thereby capturing 100% of the Ahr terroir in the bottle. These are full-bodied, rich premium wines that hold their own against international competition. The aging potential of our premium wines is at least 6–8 years.
