The Ahr-Grauburgunder S dry is a fruity, smooth, and well-rounded white wine with the body and richness of a Grauburgunder. An ideal accompaniment to meals. It pairs very well with white meat, fish, salads, and asparagus—and when well-chilled, it’s a wonderful wine for barbecue evenings.
“S” is the winery’s internal designation for “Selection.” For these S wines, the foundation for their superior quality is laid by reducing the harvest yield right in the vineyard. The full-bodied S wines are of at least Spätlese quality and are vinified using traditional methods.
