Characterization: This exceptional Pinot Noir comes from one of the best vineyards in the Ahr region (Großes Gewächs vineyard). Despite its power, it still possesses the elegance typical of Pinot Noir. It is a very multifaceted Burgundy that never gets boring to drink. Toasty aromas from aging in French barrique barrels complement the typical Pinot Noir aromas (cherry) and a wonderful minerality from the slate.
Recommendation: A wine that pairs wonderfully with hearty meats
